Hi, Jillian Beck here! I’m a strategic communications professional with over a decade of experience in journalism, government communications, and higher education administration.

I cut my teeth as a newspaper reporter before shifting into public affairs work, motivated by a desire to help people through clear, effective communications after covering a devastating wildfire in Central Texas. As a lead communicator and special assistant for a university and community college in the greater Los Angeles area, I honed my ability to craft compelling stories, enhance organizational brand, and solve complex public administration problems in the often unpredictable landscape of higher education. Now, I am excited to be leveraging this experience to help even more organizations, businesses, and individuals succeed.    

When I’m not working with clients, I love taking walks in my neighborhood in Highland Park, reading great books (and collecting as many library cards as possible across Southern California), trying to get back into running (again), and exploring Los Angeles via public transit.
